The Grammy’s were amazing last night for many reasons but Jennifer Hudson’s emotional tribute to Whitney Houston during the show was unbelievable. When I learned that Jennifer Hudson would be doing a tribute to Whitney Houston at The Grammy Awards, I immediately thought, what a perfect choice. Then as I sat there watching the Red Carpet with everyone talking about Whitney, whose death was clearly on everyone’s mind, I started thinking about the pressure Jennifer was under and I kind of felt bad for her. Although it was being reported that she was in denial about her very obvious issues, Demi Moore has apparently checked herself into the Cirque Lodge addiction treatment center in Sundance, where she's been dealing with her eating disorder and substance problems for the past week.

An insider explains:

"She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people. It became clear to her that her way of coping with her stress was not working and she needed more help."

Well, thank goodness for that.

Hopefully now she can begin to come to terms with her problems and begin the healing process.

Dr. Conrad Murray, who was sentenced to fours in prison in November for the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson, has filed legal documents to appeal his conviction, on the basis of "improper exclusion of defense evidence and witnesses that resulted in violating the defendant's State and constitutional rights to due process, to present a defense and to the effective assistance of counsel," and is even requesting that pending the ruling, he be released from jail!

Oh, but don't worry! He's willing to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet!

Tarascio claims that he was fired from his position as first stage manager and replaced by a "totally incompetent woman" in '10.

According to the ex-Late Night employee, he was fired because Jimmy "prefers to take direction from a woman."

The man also claims that Jimmy's director David Diomedi "knowingly fabricated alleged performance issues," which led to his firing.

He's suing Jimmy and NBC Universal for "punitive damages and lost wages."

It's been a rough pilot season for a lot of networks, but maybe more so for NBC, who has canned pratically everything they've put on air. However, their latest fantasy crime drama, Grimm, has really taken off with audiences, thus the network has decided to pick it up for a full year.

NBC president Robert Greenblatt made the announcement himself today, saying:

"We are very pleased to be making a full-season commitment for Grimm. This series is turning the traditional procedural drama on its head and is attracting a loyal following for us on Friday nights. We love where it’s going creatively and we’re excited to deliver more episodes to our audience.”

Let's hope that audience delivers in turn and makes the decision worth your while!

Gabrielle Giffords has vowed to return to congress, and she did it in a new book that chronicles her trials after being shot in the head just a few months ago.

It really is incredible how far she's come back. So amazing!

It may have been written mostly by her husband, but she wrote the last chapter herself. It's a single page filled with short and to the point sentences, and it's unbelievable that she was able to do that after such a short time. This is where she makes her vow.

"I will get stronger. I will return."

So good to hear!

The book isn't all full of dark and depressing things, either. While it has its fair share of that, it also has hopeful and light-hearted parts to it too. Everyone should know that.
